Student App Series
Kalei Meyer, Lead UX/UI Designer, Senior
For this project I created three separate app designs to make an analogous student app series. Through this project, I was able to showcase my UI/UX skills in various ways. For example, I created all of the wireframes, mocks, user flows, and prototypes as a part of this project. I accepted a full-time position as a UX Designer after graduation, so this project aligns perfectly with my career aspirations.
Music Creations
Nathan Frazier, Creator, Junior
Shadow World was featured in the co-op game Split. It was created using minor scales and virtual instruments to give the listener a feeling of sadness but there is always a glimmer of hope in that sadness.
Sunshine World was featured in the co-op game Split. It uses retro synthesizers and filter effects to create a unique soundscape that sounds like a hybrid between the calming music of Minecraft and the retro soundtrack of Terraria.
Surveying the Damage was featured in the local 4-player PvP game Castle Repair. This music can be heard in the menu as well as during the ability select screen in-between rounds. It’s fast moving, and inspired by the low-tech music of mid 2000’s web browser games.
