Student App Series

Kalei Meyer, Lead UX/UI Designer, Senior

For this project I created three separate app designs to make an analogous student app series. Through this project, I was able to showcase my UI/UX skills in various ways. For example, I created all of the wireframes, mocks, user flows, and prototypes as a part of this project. I accepted a full-time position as a UX Designer after graduation, so this project aligns perfectly with my career aspirations.

Doom’sPay

Abigail Wilkinson, Designer, Senior

Doom’sPay is a strategic tabletop game for 2-4 players reminiscent of Settlers of Catan, designed and implemented by myself, Abigail Wilkinson. Doom’sPay is an exercise in both my visual design skills for creating tokens, cards, and resources, as well as my skills in designing, implementing, and balancing a game system for play.

Music Creations

Nathan Frazier, Creator, Junior

Shadow World was featured in the co-op game Split. It was created using minor scales and virtual instruments to give the listener a feeling of sadness but there is always a glimmer of hope in that sadness.
Sunshine World was featured in the co-op game Split. It uses retro synthesizers and filter effects to create a unique soundscape that sounds like a hybrid between the calming music of Minecraft and the retro soundtrack of Terraria.
Surveying the Damage was featured in the local 4-player PvP game Castle Repair. This music can be heard in the menu as well as during the ability select screen in-between rounds. It’s fast moving, and inspired by the low-tech music of mid 2000’s web browser games.

Bomb Squad EP

Taylor O’Neil, Composer, Sound Designer, Mixing, Mastering, and Artwork, Senior

This is a 4 song EP I have written and produced all myself. These songs are EDM, but have a different sub genre of EDM. There is a House style song: The One. A Dubstep style one: Whompy. A Melodic Dubstep style one: New Hope. And a riddim style one: Phase Two. I would love to be a professional music producer one day. Includes adult language
